Argan Oil is a beautiful vegetable oil recommended for mature, dry and normal skins.
Argan Oil is known for its anti-ageing effect as it improves skin elasticity.
Argan oil also helps improve skin hydration, by retaining moisture. It works best when combined with Aloe Vera gel:
- Mix 1 to 2 drops of Aloe Vera gel with 1 drop of Argan Oil and apply after cleaning your skin
This recipe can replace your daily moisturiser and is great if you react to cream-based formulations as it will not block your pores.
Argan oil also has antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-itch properties.
You can combine it with clay to gently cleanse your skin.
- If you have dry skin, mix half a teaspoon of Argan Oil with 2 teaspoons of white clay, add water until obtaining a spreadable paste.
- If you have normal or sensitive skin, mix half a teaspoon of Argan Oil with 2 teaspoons of Moroccan clay, add water until obtaining a spreadable paste.
- If you have oily skin, use Jojoba Oil instead of Argan Oil. Mix half a teaspoon of Jojoba oil with 2 teaspoons of green clay, add water until obtaining a spreadable paste.
Apply the mask once a week, leave for 10 minutes and wash. Apply the above Aloe Vera gel/Argan oil recipe after to moisturise your skin.
Our Argan Oil is organic and cold-pressed. Cold pressing is the preferred method of oil extraction as the heat- and chemical-free process preserves beneficial lipids and limits irritating byproducts
