Overview
Servier’s commitment to employee wellbeing extends beyond the workplace, as demonstrated by their annual participation in Occupational Health and Safety Week. In 2018 and 2019, we had the privilege of collaborating with Servier to deliver engaging and educational employee engagement workshops that encouraged participants to explore the benefits of making their own natural beauty products.
Workshop 1: Instant Recipes for Skincare
In October 2018, Servier invited us to host a 1-hour employee engagement workshop focused on simple, instant recipes for skincare. This session catered to both beginners and those curious about the pros and cons of DIY beauty products. Together, we crafted three versatile and natural products: makeup removers, serums, and scrubs.
The hands-on format and practical tips resonated with participants, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Servier’s HR team saw the enthusiasm and engagement firsthand, which led to an invitation to return the following year.
Workshop 2: Instant Recipes for Haircare
Encouraged by the success of the first session, we returned in October 2019 to deliver another employee engagement workshop focused on haircare. Participants explored the various types of shampoos they could create at home, learning about plant-based alternatives and how to customise products to suit their hair types. Each attendee made two unique shampoos: a liquid shampoo and a plant-based solid shampoo.
The workshop’s flexible structure allowed for a 1-hour or 1.5-hour format, depending on the time available. Servier opted for the extended version, ensuring ample time for questions and discussions.
