Case Study: DIY Natural Body Scrub Online Workshop at LinkedIn Headquarters, Canada

Event Overview

In April 2021, Mademoiselle Organic had the exciting opportunity to run a DIY Natural Body Scrub Online Workshop for LinkedIn employees based in Canada. The online workshop was hosted in celebration of the company’s Environment theme for the InDay & GoGreen committees, inviting employees to take part in an interactive and sustainable activity.

The workshop was a one-hour session where participants learned how to make their own natural deodorant and coffee body scrub. The ingredients used in the workshop were easy to source from supermarkets, making it accessible for employees across the globe, without the need for sending materials.

The Workshop

The online workshop included a step-by-step guide to creating a simple, yet effective, natural deodorant and coffee body scrub. Ingredients such as baking soda, coffee, and coconut oil were used in the session, all of which are affordable, vegan, and environmentally friendly. We also discussed the importance of reusing containers and reducing waste, aligning the session with LinkedIn’s commitment to sustainability.

This session provided employees with a hands-on, engaging experience, while encouraging them to make positive changes in their personal care routines that benefit both their skin and the planet.

Participants

The workshop was sent out to approximately 75 employees to join the online session from various regions, including Canada. The interactive nature of the workshop ensured that participants could engage with the content and each other despite the geographic distance.
