For Canva’s Force For Good Week, an inspiring event series celebrating Canva’s values, we led a unique, hands-on workshop to transform used coffee grounds into sustainable skincare products such as eco-friendly body scrubs. This was more than a DIY project; it was an opportunity for Canva employees to think creatively about sustainability and experience firsthand how small actions can make a difference.

Just days before the workshop, our instructor, Lily, lost her voice. But instead of letting it dampen the event, she embraced the challenge in true creative spirit, drawing inspiration from the iconic Love Actually cue card scene. With handmade cue cards guiding each step, she brought humour and personality to every moment, ensuring no one missed a beat. The room was filled with laughter as the participants crafted sustainable skincare products that made this workshop truly unforgettable.
